Pope, the TTE, and Reeder, Pilot, successfully returned the damaged "SQUAWKIN HAWK." The Co-pilot, Harry Edeburn was killed and the cockpit area sustained heavy damage - Reeder was almost incapacitated - Pope played a major role in getting "SQUAWKIN HAWK" back to Thorpe Abbotts.   (100th Photo Archives)
