Letter from Mrs. Fredna Clark, the mother of Alfred M. Clark, postmarked 1 September 1943. By the time the letter was received at Thorpe Abbotts, S/Sgt. Clark was a POW.  Alfred was the tail gunner on the Robert H. Wolff crew, shot down on 16 September 43.  The letter bounced around for three months before arriving back home. Robert Osuna, ROG on the Kramps Tramps crew of Paul Kramp with unknown lady.
Robert L. Estes, KIA 5 MAR 45, with his bride Gracia (nee DePuy) on their wedding day, 9 August 1944.  Robert began his military career as a Paratrooper.  After receiving a neck injury that ended his paratrooper career, Robert transferred to aviation school and became a pilot.  Gracia's gown, sewn by her mother, Myrtle Churchill (nee Funari), was made from Robert's silk parachute.
